The Iconic Bulks Up with More Brands

E-commerce pioneer The Iconic is continuing to add more brands and categories to boost its relevance with customers as Amazon Australia expands.

Less than a year after adding sports apparel, shoes and accessories and high-end brands, The Iconic is expanding into the $3.7 billion children's wear market, stocking more than 70 brands including Bonds, Purebaby, GAP, Cotton On and Rock Your Baby including clothing, shoes and accessories.

Cotton On Group started offering products from several of its retail brands on The Iconic. This marks the first third-party wholesale partnership for Cotton On Group, which has a global presence of more than 1400 bricks-and-mortar stores and online sites in 18 countries.

The Iconic offers more than 50,000 products from around 800 brands to customers in Australia and New Zealand and is committed to adding the best local and international brands.

"We're going to add another $150 million in sales and hundreds of thousands of customers to the business and that's a lot of work. We're expanding the warehouse and onboarding new brands – five brands a week or one a day – all these things keep us super busy." said The Iconic chief executive Patrick Schmidt.

At Buying Intelligence, we are tracking The Iconic's aggressive expansion and monitoring the performance of each brand as they launch. Contact us for details on how to access trial data to start moving your business forward today.
